Based in Marathon, Florida, we offer private fishing charters tailored to your group, experience level, and the conditions. Whether it’s your first time fishing the Florida Keys or you’ve spent a lifetime on the water, Captain Aaron’s goal is to give you a safe, comfortable, and memorable experience from start to finish.
Meet Your Captain, Aaron Black
Captain Aaron Black’s passion for fishing began on the Great Lakes of Michigan, where he learned the sport from his father and grandfather at an early age. That passion grew into a lifelong connection to the water, including filming a fishing show and supplying fresh-caught fish to local restaurants.
With more than 40 years of fishing experience, Captain Aaron has fished everywhere from the Great Lakes and East Coast to the Florida Keys, Mexico, Costa Rica, the Bahamas, and throughout the Caribbean. His experience allows him to adapt each charter to the season, conditions, and experience level of the anglers onboard.
Captain Aaron holds a USCG 100-Ton Master Captain’s License and has completed maritime training through Chapman’s School of Seamanship in Stuart, Florida. Today, he brings his knowledge, professionalism, and genuine love of fishing to every charter aboard Black’s Pearl in Marathon.
About the Boat
The Black’s Pearl is a 33' Invincible Open Fisherman built for speed, stability, and serious Florida Keys fishing. Its open layout gives anglers plenty of room to move comfortably while still providing the performance needed to reach productive fishing grounds efficiently.
Whether you’re heading offshore for mahi-mahi, tuna, sailfish, or other seasonal favorites, fishing the reefs and wrecks, or simply enjoying a day on the water, Black’s Pearl offers the versatility to handle a wide range of Marathon fishing adventures.
Designed for both experienced anglers and families, the boat provides a comfortable, capable platform for up to six passengers. From the moment you leave the dock, the goal is simple: a safe, enjoyable day on the water with everything you need for a great Florida Keys fishing experience.
